On Moving Day at the PGA Championship, the tournament’s primary storylines start to emerge. Who will charge and who take the lead into the final round?

Saturday’s matchups were full of intrigue. LIV Golfers Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka, once the game’s most notorious frenemies, were paired together, with Koepka gaining the upper hand and claiming the top spot on the leaderboard for Sunday’s final round.

“I don’t pay too much attention to who I’m playing with,” Koepka said after firing a four-under 66. DeChambeau posted an even-par 70.

But it was club pro Michael Block, a 46-year-old Southern Californian, who solidified himself as the tournament’s Cinderella story. Block played his way into the Top 8 on Saturday, earning a Sunday pairing with none other than Rory McIlroy.

His home club, Arroyo Trabuco, gathered to cheer him on in the course’s local pub. Block was emotional when GOLF’s Nick Piastowski showed him the video.

“I got the best members in the world,” he said.
